Areas of Research/Interest: Magnetism and transport in mesoscopic systems; magnetic quantum tunneling and coherence in nanostructures; spin-dependence electron transport (spintronics), giant magnetoresistance; spin-angular momentum transfer; scanning probe microscopy of nanostructured materials; novel local probes of cooperative phenomena in nanomagnets.
