Faculty Position in Center for Soft Matter Research

The Physics Department and the Center for Soft Matter Research at New York University solicit applications for a faculty position in the area of experimental soft condensed matter physics, including soft and granular materials as well as biological physics, to begin September 1, 2013, pending administrative and budgetary approval. Duties will include undergraduate and graduate teaching. This position is part of an ongoing multi-year program at NYU to develop an international center for research at the interface between physics, chemistry, biology and engineering.

Assistant Professor of Particle Theory

The Physics Department of New York University anticipates filling a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in particle theory, as part of an ongoing program to develop this area to begin September 1, 2013, pending administrative and budgetary approval. Duties will include undergraduate and graduate teaching. Exceptional candidates at higher levels will also be considered.
